The Best looking phone of MWC - LG G6

LG G6, the new LG flagship smartphone, has been unveiled at the company's launch event at MWC 2017 in Barcelona on Sunday. The LG G6 follows the company's 'Less Artificial, More Intelligence' theme.Despite several attempts to shake things up over the years, LG has arguably yet to find its groove. While the company has produced a number of unique flagship designs, none of them have ever really managed to win the hearts of the masses. Last year’s LG G5 attempted to launch us into a modular future but struggled to really make a dent outside of a small circle of fans. The LG V20 was certainly a bit better received, but even it was far from a runaway success.

Rounded corners aside, this doesn't leave a ton of room for industrial design flair — I'd describe the phone as conventionally attractive, if a little nondescript. But the most impressive physical aspect of the G6 is its incredibly solid metal and glass construction. Although it isn't too hefty at 7.9mm thick, this thing feels like a battleship. It's also LG's first G-series phone to be water- and dust-resistant, rated at IP68.

Those rounded corners aren't just there to show off. LG actually filed off the edges of the LCD panel, making more room for reinforcement around the corners of the phone itself, which is the most common area to suffer impact damage and which could otherwise have made the G6 especially vulnerable. If the panel remained rectangular with this slim-bezel design, its corners would have been much closer to the edge of the device and therefore more vulnerable to cracking upon impact.

The phone comes with a 5.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2880 pixels at a PPI of 564 pixels per inch.

It comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 2000GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the LG G6 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The LG G6 runs Android 7.0 and is powered by a 3300mAh non removable battery. It measures 148.90 x 71.90 x 7.90 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 163.00 grams.

The LG G6 is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepts a Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
